FIFA confirmed that the winner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will earn up to $125M. Earlier this month, the sporting federation announced that the competition would entail an entire pot of $1B – incentivizing clubs from around the world to take the competition seriously.

"FIFA will neither retain any funding for this tournament, as all revenues will be distributed to club football, nor will it touch FIFA's reserves, which are set aside for global football development through the 211 FIFA Member Associations," FIFA president Gianni Infantino said in a statement.

Roughly half of the $1B total will be divided between all 32 participants, with each club earning an amount based on sporting and commercial criteria. Clubs such as Chelsea and Real Madrid will receive greater percentages than smaller clubs, such as South African side Mamelodi Sundowns, due to a model FIFA developed with the European Club Association.

FIFA said $475M will be awarded to clubs based on performances, meaning the team with the most victories over seven potential matches will earn the most. The maximum pot is $125M.

The $475M breaks down as follow: In the group stage, $2M for each win and $1M for each draw; $7.5M for reaching the round of 16, $13.125M for qualifying for the quarterfinals, $21M for making the semifinals and $30M for progressing to the final; and $40M for the CWC winner.
