The 39-year-old appears willing to consider an extended stay in his current surroundings, with Scolari – who managed Portugal between 2003 and 2008 – telling during a visit to Riyadh: “I was even more impressed and happy because Cristiano Ronaldo said to me: ‘Coach, I am very happy to be here at Al-Nassr. I live well here'. And this is something I have been waiting to hear from my boy who has worked with me for many years.”
