An unbeaten century from opener Cameron Bancroft and fifties from Marcus Harris and Shaun Marsh underlined Western Australia’s dominant batting effort against Queensland at the WACA.Western Australia were put in to bat by Queensland, and Bancroft and Harris began with a solid 116-run stand for the first wicket. Mark Steketee broke the partnership by dismissing Harris for 65 in the 40th over but that was the only success Queensland would have with the ball on the day as Bancroft and Marsh built an unbroken 205-run stand for the second wicket.Bancroft was given two reprieves by Queensland – on 33 and 63 – before he brought up his second successive first-class century with a four off Mitchell Swepson, and then crossed the 150-run mark towards the end of the day. Marsh, meanwhile, finished the day on 95 not out, having struck 13 fours and two sixes.
