Chelsea supposedly intend to give Maresca – who was appointed on a five-year deal last summer – at least two full seasons in charge before any sort of performance assessment is made. If they win the Conference League and qualified for the Champions League, the Blues hierarchy would reportedly see that as a very successful campaign.
