His consistent performance has been duly recognised by Laureus Sport who handed Bellingham the 2024 Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year Award.

Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland, who was in contention for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, lost the award to Tennis legend Novak Djokovic.
