The England international has taken Spanish football by storm since joining Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund ahead of the 2023/24 season. He has been the club's standout performer in the current campaign having scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists in 36 games across all competitions.
His consistent performance has been duly recognised by Laureus Sport who handed Bellingham the 2024 Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year Award.

Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland, who was in contention for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, lost the award to Tennis legend Novak Djokovic. Haaland enjoyed a terrific run of form in his debut season with the Cityzens as he scored 51 goals in 52 appearances and won the treble with the English side in the 2022/23 campaign.
